Doornbosch Bros. LLC has been in the fundraising business for over 50 years supplying programs and assistance to garden clubs, church organizations, school groups, and any group wanting to fundraise.
Brief History
Doornbosch Bros was started after World War II to help ladies groups
raise needed funds to help victims of the war. It expanded to several
programs to be used by all types of organizations in need of raising funds. The original owners were the Doornbosch brothers. The business was purchased by others throughout the years and most recently in 2002 by Joe van der Vlugt and Piet Stuifbergen. They are both born and raised in Holland in the flower bulb growing and exporting businesses and have combined experience of over 60 years. The owners decided to keep the business in the Midwest close to Joe's home base by moving Doornbosch Bros. headquarters from Wisconsin to Osceola, Indiana. Doornbosch Bros maintains a large bulb nursery and warehouse facility in Noordwijkerhout, Netherlands as well.
In 2004, we hired Susan Vandervlugt, a Horticulture graduate from Purdue University, with a specialty background in bulbs and plants to be our marketing manager. Susan has been working with bulbs and perennials directly for over 8 years. She has great ideas and can answer your questions pertaining to our products, promotions, and website.
